Bali Launches Dharma Dewata Immigration Patrol to Enhance Tourist Oversight and Cultural Protection
Denpasar, Indonesia — In a decisive move to bolster security and preserve cultural integrity, the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration together with the Bali Provincial Government have established the Dharma Dewata Immigration Patrol Task Force. Between January 1 and April 12, 2026, Indonesian immigration authorities recorded 165 deportations and 62 detentions related to administrative immigration violations.
